Red Wing Diabetes Awareness Week March 3-9, 2018

Know your risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

As many as 1 in 3 adults (1.5 million adults in Minnesota) have prediabetes. This is a warning sign you are at greater risk of developing type 2 diabetes. In Goodhue County alone, 7% of our residents have type 2 diabetes and for our residents of color and those earning less than $25,000 annually, that number climbs to 14%.  And most of us don’t know we have it!
